Men’s perfect shaving steps and tips

I watched the news a few days ago. There was a boy who had just grown a beard. His father gave him a razor as a gift. Then the question is, if you received this gift, would you use it? Here’s how to use a manual shaver:

Step 1: Wash the beard position
Remember to wash the razor and your hands before shaving, especially the area where your beard is located.

Step 2: Soften the beard with warm water
Just like traditional barbers do. Otherwise, shave after your morning shower when the skin is soft and hydrated from the warm water.
Applying shaving soap with a shaving brush increases the volume of your beard hair and allows for a closer shave. To build up a rich lather, wet your shaving brush and apply the soap in fast, repeated circular motions to coat the brush bristles well.

Step 3: Shaving from top to bottom
The shaving direction should follow the growth direction of the beard from top to bottom. The procedure usually starts from the upper cheeks on the left and right sides. The general principle is to start with the thinnest part of the beard and put the thickest part at the end.

Step 4: Rinse with warm water
After shaving your beard, remember to wash it with warm water, gently pat the shaved area dry, and be careful not to rub it hard. You can use some mild skin care products to make your skin repaired and smoother.
Don’t neglect your post-shave routine. Rinse your face well and repeatedly to remove any residue. Take care of your skin! Especially if you don’t shave every day, or have problems with ingrown hair, apply a face cream daily.

Step 5: Replace the blade regularly
Rinse the blade of the razor after use. After rinsing with water, you can also soak it in alcohol and place it in a ventilated place to dry in order to avoid bacterial growth. The blade should be changed regularly, because the blade becomes blunt, which will increase the pull on the beard and increase the irritation to the skin.
